Ms. Ryan's Math and Science

The Edgewood Go Green club is open to all 6th, 7th and 8th graders who are interested in building awareness and making changes in our school, the community, and the environment.  We meet once a week on Ms. Ryan’s room #310. Some projects that we worked on during the 2009-2010 school year included:

-a study on invasive species of Illinois

-organizing Go Green Winter Green week and Earth week

-selling smencils and CFLs

-reading environmental books to kindergarten students

-organizing and judging a school-wide advisory contest

-planting flowers in Alice’s garden

We look forward to another successful, productive and “green” year!
