Ms. Ryan's Math and Science

If a student receives lower than a 70% on a test or quiz, they are allowed to take a retake test or quiz.  In order to take a retake the student must complete the following:

1) Have the test signed by a parent / guardian

2) Complete a test analysis: on a SEPARATE sheet of paper for each question they got wrong either rework the problem correctly or write a sentence explaining why they got this question wrong.

3) See Ms. Ryan to schedule a retake time (within one week of when test/quiz was passed back)

The retake grade will be either:

-the new grade on the retake

-the average of the two tests/quizzes

-a 75%

Retake grades will not exceed a 75% overall, but in many cases they will still raise a student’s overall grade.
