It is CONCERT TIME! I love the first concert of the year. What you hear at home is only a little piece of the puzzle – it is not until we all learn our parts and gather on stage for the first time that you get to see the big picture. The response from participants and audience members is fantastic when they realize that great music is really being made…after just a few months!

After the concert, start to dig into any new music I have handed out, look at page 44 (concert Bb) or even P. 36 – Sousa Spectacular. It is really, REALLY hard, but we have a long time to get to it.
