Dear 4-M Families,

We will be venturing out of the classroom for our final field trip of the year to Heller Nature Center on Friday, May 18th from 9am-11:30. The weather looks quite favorable, mostly sunny and in the high seventies. We will be outside the entire duration of the trip, so  please send your child dressed according to the weather and wearing closed-toe shoes. I recommend lathering your child up with sunscreen as well, since it will be quite sunny.

• Tuesday, May 15th: Orchestra Field Trip in afternoon
• Wednesday, May 16th: Orchestra Concert at Elm Place 7 pm
• Thursday, May 17: 9:00 MAP Reading test, 1:00 pm dismissal
• Friday, May 18: Trip to Heller Nature Center (9-11:30 am). Please make sure your child dresses to walk and work outside (long pants, closed shoes, sunscreen, etc.)
• Thursday, May 24: 9:00 MAP Math Test, Fun Fest!
• Monday, May 28: No School – Memorial Day
• Monday, June 4: Field Day!
• Tuesday, June 5: Step Up Day! 11:40 dismissal
• Wednesday, June 6: Last day!

Bring $2.00 for the last ice cream day this Wednesday (5/16) !!

Due to the rain forecast for tomorrow, we will be going on our Heller Field Trip on Friday May 18th in the morning.  Although the permission slip said the rain date was May 11th, it is in fact May 18th.  We will not be sending another permission slip home.

I would love to have some parent chaperones on this trip.  Please email me if you would like to join us on Friday, May 18th (9am -11:30).  Thank you!

All library books for kids are due back on May 25th.

If students have lost a book during the year, paying for the book is the same as returning it. That kind of transaction should occur anytime before the 25th.

Tomorrow is Dollars for Deutsch. Help us reach our goal  of $10,000 for the Rory David Deutsch Foundation by bringing in dollar bills.

Mother’s Day orders need to be received by May 1st

for delivery by May 4th.

Order forms can be turned into teachers or the front office until the end of the school year.

Cookbooks can also be purchased in the office for $15.00 each. Please make checks payable to Indian Trail PTO.
