GIVE I.T.
We all know the school year is coming to an end. And for most families this isn’t the first time they’ve had to take home or throw away gently used school supplies.
This is your chance to give to others, reuse-recycle; give your school supplies to other kids who need it!
Items: scissors, crayons, markers, colored pencils, glue, rulers, tape, erasers, pens, notebooks, pencils, and highlighters
Look for the boxes in front of the office June 1-7th
Everyone can Give I.T. !!

Thank you to all those who have served or are serving our country and allowing us the freedoms we are so lucky to have!
FUN FEST 2010 IS QUICKLY APPROACHING! I AM HOPING TO SEE LOTS OF STUDENTS AND FAMILIES THERE! I WILL HAVE A RAFFLE BOX FOR A PRIZE FROM ME:) CAN’T WAIT
Just a reminder to all that we are collecting plastic bottle caps of many sizes and types! Please send them in even if you are not sure if they are the correct kind.
We are also still collecting for the raffle basket. Our theme is SPA DAY. Think relaxation…. We have a few wonderful items to start our basket, but can definitely use more!
Thanks in advance for your support and help with both of these tasks:)
Tomorrow is EARTH DAY 2010! What will you do to make a difference? Here are some suggestions:

“Afternoon at the Museum”
The fifth grade students have been hard at work preparing for their performance of “Afternoon at the Museum” and hope you can join them this Wednesday, March 17th at 1:15pm in the small gym. You are guaranteed an afternoon of drama, visual art, poetry, music, and movement–a truly creative experience unlike anything ever presented on the Indian Trail stage!
You could also choose to attend our performance for the students at 9:50am if that’s more convenient for your schedule. Please just let me know ahead of time if we should expect you in the morning, so we can make sure to set up enough chairs.
All fifth grade students should wear all black on Wednesday and avoid track pants, sports logos, or printed designs if possible. (Boys: All-black dress pants or black/navy blue sweat pants without stripes down the side are preferred, jeans are preferred over khaki pants. Girls: leggings are fine, no jeans if possible. However, please don’t go out and purchase something especially for the performance. Students are also encouraged to bring an accent accessory (tie, hat, headband, scarf, jewelry, etc.) of the color of their mural shape to use during that portion of the performance.)
Please contact Miss Pellerite with questions.
WEAR BLACK, NOT GREEN:) Maybe a green sweater or jacket over your black that you can take off prior to the music performance! I am so excited for our fifth graders to perform!
