A little about me…

This year will be my fifth year teaching in North Shore School District 112.  I spent my first three years at Elm Place, teaching sixth grade language arts. Last year, I was warmly welcomed into the Indian Trail family and taught first grade.  I am very excited to be joining the fourth grade team this year. I love the Indian Trail community and look forward to building many more relationships with students and their families.

I earned my Bachelor of Arts in elementary education at Michigan State University, along with an endorsement in language arts. Currently, I am finishing my Masters’ degree at Loyola University, studying instructional leadership and earning my ELL certificate. As a part of the program, I am conducting my administrative internship with Mr. Eriksen at Edgewood Middle School, as I finish-up working toward earning my type 75.

This year, your child will grow tremendously, academically, socially, and emotionally. I am excited to be a part of this experience and look forward to partnering with you, in order to maximize the success your child has during the school year.
